The AMAZING Platinum

          Platinum has been fighting crime since the beginning of time, but the first written account of him was from Julius C. Scaliger in 1557. Scaliger described Platinum as a very odd metal that was found in gold mines between Panama and Mexico. His super powers consist of his skin being fire retardant, his bones are very flexible, and he can transform in to a deadly bomb if around his buddies Hydrogen and Oxygen. He has a very reliable and super powerful alliance. This alliance consists of Ruthenium, Rhodium, Palladium, Osmium, and Iridium. They make up the "Sexy Six." This alliance of super powerful super heroes is the most prominent group of crime stoppers in the world. They travel all around the world preventing danger and saving lives. The one weakness of Platinum is that he dissolves if put in aqua regia, or chloroplatinic acid. He has beautiful, silky, silver hair and he has a light, almost white complexion. He was recently featured on the cover of the magazine "Super Heroes" for being recognized as the sexiest super hero of the year. An English chemist by the name of William H. Wollaston came up with a commercial process for producing Platinum. This chemist just so happened to discover all of the other super heroes in the Sexy Six. They refer to him as their grandfather. After William H. Wollaston died in 1828, the Sexy Six broke apart. They got in a huge argument over which super hero was better, and which one Grandpa Will liked the most.
